At Ice Clinic we pride ourselves on offering predominantly manual therapies to find the cause and solve our patients problems, however exercise both at home and in a studio or gym environment can in most cases really help the recuperation process.
Not only will our Clinicians be able to offer you advice on exercises you can take away with you but we always offer Yoga and Pilates classes in our studio – both these classes are great for strengthening and stretching.
Pilates is an exercise method, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance.
The classes focus on specific exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function.
We have 2 teachers working from our Studio Jo and Anna.

Anna offers small group classes (limited numbers) in both mat and seated Pilates.
The Pilates method is well known for its benefits in strength and flexibility training, and with non-impact movements through all of the joints it is excellent for rehabilitation, as a compliment to other sports, and of course also as a standalone workout.
Fitness Pilates incorporates some low impact, high intensity work, which will ensure an all over workout for both the body and the mind. Working through different sequences that promote strength, joint mobility and flexibility, Pilates will keep you supple and strong.
Seated Pilates sessions offer all of the brilliant benefits of Pilates, but without the pressure of changing body positions or needing to get up and down from the floor.
Mat sessions are 60 minutes; seated sessions are 45 minutes long.
