So many men suffer in silence with erectile dysfunction, believing that they are in the minority, but in fact 50% of men between 40 and 70 suffer with some form of erectile dysfunction. There is also an increasing number of younger men suffering with transient/short term erectile dysfunction.

At ICE Ampthill we offer Focussed Shockwave Therapy alongside our pelvic health service to help with erectile dysfunction. This is an innovative treatment that uses focused shockwaves to stimulate growth of new blood vessels, creating better blood flow to the penis.

Low level shockwaves are administered to the shaft of the penis via a handheld device. The procedure is not painful and takes around 25 minutes, following a full assessment. There should be no side effects following treatment and improvements are often noticeable around two weeks after treatment has started.
